This is one of my favourites from Stuart Lee’s 2005 set. I saw him perform this live in the more intimate setting of Crouch End’s “Downstairs at the Kings Head”, however I think it works just as well in front of a big audience:

What do you think of his likening the ownership of beer to the ownership of jokes? Especially as one is concrete and the other is abstract?
I laugh at the ending of this routine but suddenly wondered if something had been sneaked under my radar…
