Aparantly the both the German Nazi party and Stalin’s Communist party used to encourage children to become informants. Kids were encouraged to report anything suspicious looking to the authorities, who would send men with sharp sticks and guns to investigate. This (fortunately fictional) invention allows kids to tattle on suspicious looking Arab types (Just look at him wandering around YOUR city with his beard).
